Senior Manager Strategy And Architecture

Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager: Strategy and Architecture based in Pretoria.Requirements:Minimum NQF level 7 Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.Certifications in ITIL, TOGAF, and SDLC.10+ years' experience in information technology and business with 5 years of strong proven leadership capabilities across all areas of the IT environment or management structure.Exposure and experience in Agile Development methodologies.
Responsibilities:Apply architecture principles and practices to guide the organisation through the business, information, process, and technology changes necessary to execute on their strategies.Lead and plan the development of innovation capabilities and implementation of innovation processes, tools and frameworks.Develop organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for business process improvement.Lead the creation and review of a systems capability strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business.Develop and present business cases, for high-level initiatives, approval, funding and prioritisation.Ensure alignment to strategic architecture through the establishment and management of appropriate and relevant architecture forums.Plan and lead the identification and assessment of new and emerging technologies and the evaluation of the potential impacts, threats and opportunities.Lead the development of architectures for complex solutions, ensuring consistency with the specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers.Ensure that appropriate standards are adhered to.Outline performance measurement objectives and the high-level implementation approach.Champion the value of new ways of working to address internal and external opportunities and threats arising from changes in technology, society and business models.Scan the environment to ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder needs.Build strong, collaborative and value-adding relationships with all relevant stakeholders.Advise executive management on strategies as they pertain to this functional area.Manage service level agreements.Contribute to transformation or culture plans.Manage resources effectively and efficiently to comply with budget requirements.Ensure that research projects are delivered within the allocated budget.Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
