We look forward to your application!About the Role:As a Senior Manager – Software Developer at MTN, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining reliable and innovative software solutions that drive our growth and enhance customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering managers, DevSecOps engineers, testers, and other key stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software designs and solutions that align with our business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of scalable software solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.Actively participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Architect, develop, and implement new microservices within a containerized environment, leveraging emerging technologies and cloud platforms.Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in software development processes.Excel in problem-solving, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and driving innovation in software development workflows.Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, with a focus on data privacy and regulatory requirements.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; Postgraduate qualifications preferred.7+ years of relevant working experience, with 4-5 years in full stack development or frontend/backend roles. Telecom-based software technology experience is a plus.Proficiency in Java technology stack, web technologies, APIs, and database management systems.
