Job Summary Manager strategic initiatives to streamline lean portfolio management practices, drive effective change adoption, and enhance operational alignment with organizational goals. This role bridges portfolio governance and change enablement, ensuring optimized resource allocation and utilization, value delivery, and seamless change integration within the portfolio. This leader will enable change strategy execution and effective delivery of initiatives within the portfolio while adhering to Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) principles.
Job Description Project Management: Lead end-to-end execution of critical programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies. Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme plan, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight. Establish clear success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, analysts, technologists, legal, and compliance, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities. Risk and Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards within the capital markets industry. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and maintain operational integrity. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including both internal and external team members, to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and within established timelines. Coordinate with resource managers to allocate resources based on project priorities. Change Management: Implement effective change management strategies to minimize resistance and facilitate smooth transitions during project implementations. Communicate changes clearly to impacted teams and provide necessary training and support. Reporting and Documentation: Create and deliver regular project status reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones to leadership and stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, requirements, meeting minutes, and post-project evaluations. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, driving efficiency gains and enhancing the overall project management approach. Participate in lessons learned sessions and apply insights to refine project management methodologies. Education Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
