Senior Manager, Finance, Africa Regions, Finance Reporting IntegrationJob OverviewBusiness Segment: Business & Commercial BankingLocation: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30Take full accountability and responsibility for all aspects and outputs relating to the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reporting requirements, as well as the implementation of the Group approved reporting strategies, initiatives, and IFRS implementations into Africa Regions countries.Ensure accuracy and quality of all reporting outputs and understand and explain the impact of all such outputs on the accuracy of overall Standard Bank Africa Regions and Offshore financial results and processes.Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the financial reporting team and ensure the successful completion of all reporting and financial management processes to provide Africa executives, Group Exco, and business partners with up-to-date financial information to make relevant business decisions.Act as an effective link and mediator between African legal entities and the rest of the Group, thereby ensuring all Group Finance and Exco requirements are within country capabilities.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsType of Qualification: Post Graduate DegreeField of Study: Business Commerce, Finance, and AccountingExperience Required8-10 years of post-qualification experience in financial services, with a proven track record in delivering critical Management Information Systems (MIS) and technology solutions to business units.Extensive experience in finance systems implementation and maintenance.Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate a broad business environment.Proficient in financial analysis techniques, including the construction, interpretation, and analysis of financial statements and results.Solid knowledge of economic activities and their implications on financial performance.Hands-on experience with SAP, FMI, and GBM systems.Additional InformationChallenging IdeasConveying Self-ConfidenceDirecting PeopleTax ManagementPlease note: All our recruitment processes comply with the applicable local laws and regulations.
