We look forward to your application!About the Role:As the Senior Manager – DevSecOps Engineer, you will be a key player in integrating development and operations at MTN, leveraging cutting-edge tools and practices to streamline and accelerate software development, infrastructure management, and deployment processes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security, all while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Define and execute goals for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for efficient infrastructure management.Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software releases.Collaborate with other chapter leads to drive synergies and achieve engineering excellence.Implement monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability of telecom systems.Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies for system scalability.Lead incident response efforts during critical system failures or outages.Collaborate with security teams to maintain security measures and compliance standards.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the DevOps team.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics and Communication. A postgraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.7+ years of relevant working experience, with 4-5 years in technical architecture or application development. Expertise in optimizing applications in standalone and distributed systems environments is essential.Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell or Python, strong knowledge of telecom systems and DevOps principles, and experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems.
