Senior Immigration Specialist – On-site (German speaking beneficial)Cape TownZAR 200000 - 300000Job Description:My client, a boutique firm renowned for its expertise in navigating complex immigration processes, offers specialized services and solutions for individuals and businesses operating in, relocating to, or living in South Africa. They are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Immigration Specialist with in-depth knowledge of South African immigration law to join their dynamic team.OverviewAs a Senior Immigration Specialist, you will utilize your extensive expertise in South African immigration law to offer strategic advice, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage intricate immigration cases. Your responsibilities will include overseeing immigration procedures, providing expert guidance to clients, and collaborating with a team of junior and senior specialists.Key Responsibilities:Provide in-depth advice on all aspects of South African immigration law, including visa applications, residency permits, and compliance matters.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their specific needs and delivering tailored immigration solutions.Manage complex immigration cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and successful outcomes.Stay informed on immigration law changes and regulatory compliances and ensure all processes and client advisories comply with current legal standards.Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and fostering their professional growth and development.Prepare, review, and maintain legal documents, reports, and correspondence related to immigration cases.Act as a liaison with government authorities, legal entities, and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.Qualifications:LLB or equivalent legal qualification, preferably with a specialization in immigration law.Minimum 4 years of experience in South African immigration law, with a proven ability to handle complex cases and deliver high-level advisory services.Strong understanding of South African immigration policies, procedures, and regulations.Proficiency in English.
