Top Company in Centrion is seeking a Dynamic Senior Financial Manager/Group Financial Manager Reporting to the CFO.Responsibilities:Motivate and train the finance team and mentor team members.Oversee all aspects of employee management, assisting in interviews and ensuring that new hires are trained.Supervise and monitor employees to ensure they follow accounting procedures and fulfill their job responsibilities.Understand basic employee relations principles towards managing performance appraisal and disciplinary processes, taking corrective action against employees who do not fulfill their responsibilities through providing the required training or alternative actions.Ensure HR and company policies and procedures are implemented, enforced, and communicated to staff.Manage staff attendance and overtime.Ensure that staff have the necessary resources to fulfill their tasks.Set goals for each financial employee and clearly communicate goals with subordinates. Conduct annual performance reviews and ratings.Initiate daily and monthly staff meetings.Delegate responsibilities where required to ensure deliverables are met.Take responsibility for evaluating subordinates' performance and delivering positive and critical feedback, depending on the employee and the situation.Support the CFO in executing the deliverables expected of the finance department.Maintain a growth mindset as the business is growing and the required controls and processes need to be put in place.Able to work alongside CFO to ensure the business is supported commercially and grown sustainably.Manage the full finance function of the Tru–Trac Group, including all aspects of the business involving financial issues.Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the group of companies – all reportings and transactions such as payroll, invoicing, cash collections, and other transactions.Oversee financial department employees, including accountants, bookkeepers, debtors, and admin staff.Manage annual audit, tax, banking, and investment preparation.Implement and maintain adequate internal controls to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Review, report, and present manufactured products and imported product costings to the CEO and COO.Manage product pricing structures and support Tru-Trac Manufacturing where required.Prepare detailed budgets for all exploration, holding, and administration companies.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.Analyse, review, and prepare monthly management accounts.Analyse financials and provide insightful information to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision-making.Review financial data and prepare monthly management and annual reports.Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.Assist with tender submissions, BEE compliance, and local manufacturing content verification.Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons.Report any safety incidents to the safety department as per safety policies and procedures.Adhere to health and safety regulations, policies, and protocols.Execute instructions received from the safety department.Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping.Minimum Requirements:Fully qualified CA or CIMA.Minimum 5 years working experience (post articles if applicable).Ideally big-4 articles experience but not compulsory (if applicable).Experience in manufacturing or mining industry ideal.Strong performance in day-to-day financial management and reporting.
