Senior Graphics Designer – Cape Town Printer Farm / Skyjet Africa Digital Wide Format Printers

We are looking for an experienced senior graphic designer to join our dynamic team. We are world leaders in synchronised double sided and wide format printing. Our cutting-edge printing technology requires skilled designers that thrive on innovation and pushing the boundaries in soft signage and portable display printing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to work with wide format digitally printable media in UV, Dye Sublimation, Solvent and Latex print routes. Expertise in double sided or synchronised mirror printing is beneficial in light boxes, fabric frames, banner walls, gazebos and parasols design.
The successful candidate will manage a team of junior layout artists, print operators and seamstresses.
Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Degree or similar qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or related field.
Proficient in the Adobe suite of programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Exceptional creativity and proficiency in producing high-quality, engaging content.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented and highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
A design portfolio showcasing previous work for the above listed.

Software Experience:

Apple Mac experience essential and PC knowledge a plus.
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Power Point etc.)

Self-starter with strong team leadership skills.
Emotional maturity – critical skill.
Ability to get on well with others – critical skill.
