Role Overview: We are looking for a creative, experienced, and strategic Senior Graphic Designer to join a growing creative team. This role will focus on producing exceptional design work for retail clients across a variety of campaigns and touchpoints. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you'll be responsible for leading the design process from concept to execution, collaborating with copywriters, account managers, and project teams to deliver high-quality work that elevates clients' brands. You'll be working on a mix of retail-focused seasonal and monthly campaigns, including digital campaigns, social media assets, print advertising, in-store displays, e-commerce assets, and more. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for retail design, and the ability to bring fresh, innovative ideas to every project.
Key Responsibilities: Concept Development & Design Leadership: Lead the creative development and execution of design concepts for a range of retail clients, from initial idea generation to final delivery. Campaign Execution: Design integrated campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital ads, social media content, email marketing, print, OOH (out-of-home), and in-store materials. Retail Brand Consistency: Ensure the visual consistency of the retail brand across all touchpoints, maintaining brand standards while adapting to specific campaign needs. Client Collaboration: Work closely with account managers and clients to understand their goals, challenges, and target audience, ensuring design solutions are aligned with business objectives. E-Commerce & Digital Design: Lead a team who will develop visually compelling assets for e-commerce websites, online ads, product pages, and digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and conversions. In-Store Design & POS: Create and design in-store signage, point-of-sale (POS) displays, window concepts, and other retail-specific materials to engage consumers and enhance the in-store experience. Mentorship: Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and contribute to the team's creative output. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (account managers, strategists, copywriters) to ensure the seamless execution of design concepts. Quality Control: Ensure that all design work meets the highest standards in terms of creativity, accuracy, and consistency, while managing the production process from concept to final output. Trend Awareness: Stay current on design trends, retail innovations, and competitor activity to keep your work fresh and relevant. Time Management: Effectively manage multiple projects at once, balancing creative execution with tight deadlines and client needs.
Required Skills & Experience: Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in branding, digital design, and integrated advertising campaigns. Advanced Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with web design tools like Figma or similar. Branding & Visual Identity: Deep understanding of brand guidelines, with the ability to create designs that are both visually compelling and aligned with the client's brand identity. Creative Concepting: Proven ability to generate innovative design concepts and transform them into cohesive, impactful campaigns. Multi-Platform Design: Experience working across a range of media and platforms, including digital, social and print. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, team members, and other departments to ensure the success of each project. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision, with the ability to maintain a high standard of design output under pressure. Time Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting your work to clients and stakeholders, articulating design choices and concepts clearly and effectively. BONUS: Retail Experience: Strong experience designing for retail brands, including both traditional and digital media (print, social media, in-store displays, e-commerce).
Desirable Attributes: Motion graphics or video design experience (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro). E-commerce design experience (product pages, banners, promotional assets). Knowledge of UX/UI design principles, especially for retail websites or apps. Experience with print production, working with printers, fabricators, and other external partners.
