We are looking for a Durban based Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media across print and digital platforms.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.
What you need to know:Study design briefs and determine requirementsWorking with the rest of the team in designing great pieces for our clientsLogo designPosters, flyers, brochuresBusiness cardsSocial media postsWebsite design and banner designUser interfacePrint proofingWill be required to design new pieces as well as make updates to jobs worked on previouslyGood knowledge of Google environment – Gmail, Docs, SpreadsheetsAdobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign experienceA solid understanding of responsive website design is a bonusA good understanding of print processes and the ability to see a job through to printWork with copywriters and creative head to produce the final designTest graphics across various mediaDegree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plusWho you are:The ideal candidate must care about delivering excellent customer service to our clients and be passionate about ensuring that their campaigns are working at optimal efficiency.The nature of our company is highly collaborative so you must be able to work as part of a team.You must be self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in your role.
