Senior Gis Technician

Key performance areas: Provide an efficient GIS support function to the Catchment, Stormwater and River Management Branch, associated with map production, data capturing, data analysis and technical support. Compile professional cartographic maps and provide technical assistance as needed.Minimum Requirements:National Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in GIS or related field.2 to 5 years' experience required within the Geographic Information System environment.Proven proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (ESRI ArcGIS desktop software) and MS Office.Knowledge of GIS, relational databases, cartography and data analysis.Good communication and analytical skills.
