Introduction
We are looking to recruit a permanent Senior Forensic Investigator to work within the Internal Auditing department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based in Gauteng reporting to the Forensics Manager.
Job description
Job Purpose:
To support the reduction of losses and negative impacts to the Group through the effective detection, investigation, analysis and prevention of fraud and risk activities in line with legislative requirements.
Job Objectives:
To effectively detect and investigate suspicious and fraudulent activity within the Group.
To develop staff awareness of fraudulent activities, trends and preventative measures through the development and execution of training initiatives.
To maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders to achieve the Forensic plan and continuously improve efficiencies.
To identify and/or drive optimal recovery against estimated loss for the Group within legislative requirements.
To assist the business in the recovery, prevention, detection of and timeous response to fraud, theft, and corruption activities through improved fraud control measures.
To support the business by conducting fraud risk assessments and analysis to identify trends and focus areas.
To conduct fraud-risk analytic reviews (proactive forensic auditing) across the Group using data analytics to identify areas for further monitoring and investigation.
To support the business by conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct and provide investigation and other relevant reports across the Group.
Minimum requirements
Essential Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12
Relevant B. Degree or Diploma in Accounting/ Law/ Internal Audit/ Forensic Examination/ Risk Management/ Policing
Code 8 Driver's licence
A member of the ACFE or related institution.
CFE will be an added advantage.
Job-related Experience:
Minimum 5 years forensic investigation-related experience (essential)
Retail, pharmaceutical and/ or corporate experience (desirable)
