Senior Financial Manager

The successful incumbent will have hands-on experience within a plant / factory environment and get involved in all operational aspects, including sales, costings, distribution, warehousing and inventory. Duties will include, but are not limited to:Monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reportingManage budget and forecast processesStaff management (Finance and Operations)Manage interface with Shared ServicesManage annual audit processAssist with management of divisional risk by reporting on risks, identifying new risks and implementing risk mitigation actionsPrevent wasteful spend (OPEX) and ensure that returns (CAPEX) are measured to improve the financial resultsImprove business decision making capability by ensuring that the costing and profitability accounting reflects impact of cost and profitability driversEducation Requirements:Qualified CA(SA) required (non-negotiable)Job Requirements and Skills:Completed SAICA articles6 to 7 years post-articles experience in a financial management role essentialManufacturing / Plant / Factory hands-on experience essentialSAP working knowledgeFinancial modeling skillsCosting experienceDeadline drivenAbility to work in a high pressure, fast paced environmentTeam playerIf this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply!
