Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / related field Master's Degree preferred SAIPA, SAICA, or other relevant professional certification Requirements At least 5 years experience in a Financial Management role, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting. Proven track record of managing a financial team with varying personalities. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills. Experience in risk management and financial instruments. Advanced proficiency in financial software (SAGE) and Excel. Duties Manage the finance department consisting of 5 members. Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability, driving the company's financial success. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices. Create and monitor forecasts Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements. Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making. Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring proper allocation and investment of funds. Manage forex including forward cover contracts. Manage investments to maximize return and control risk. Manage risk through insurance, hedging and other financial instruments, ensuring the company's financial stability. Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive growth. Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, transactions and documentation. Oversee Payroll processes, checks and approval. Manage VAT and TAX submission and reporting. Monthly closures and EXCO reports. Input to sister companies. Audit Management and control. Consolidated financials. Oversee ad hoc financial functions. Reporting to the Managing Director.
