Senior Financial Manager

The successful incumbent will have hands-on experience within a plant / factory environment and get involved in all operational aspects, including sales, costings, distribution, warehousing and inventory. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting Manage budget and forecast processes Staff management (Finance and Operations) Manage interface with Shared Services Manage annual audit process Assist with management of divisional risk by reporting on risks, identifying new risks and implementing risk mitigation actions Prevent wasteful spend (OPEX) and ensure that returns (CAPEX) are measured to improve the financial results Improve business decision making capability by ensuring that the costing and profitability accounting reflects impact of cost and profitability drivers Education Requirements: Qualified CA(SA) required (non-negotiable) Job Requirements and Skills: Completed SAICA articles 6 to 7 years post-articles experience in a financial management role essential Manufacturing / Plant / Factory hands-on experience essential SAP working knowledge Financial modeling skills Costing experience Deadline driven Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment Team player If this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply
