Senior Financial Administrator: Financial Accounting (Grade 10) Finance Division The Finance Division invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
Main Objectives To support the Assistant Financial Accountant in providing seamless financial administrative processes in accounting and related responsibilities in the areas of projects and grants, fixed assets, inventory, general accounting, VAT, annual financial statements, month-end and year-end procedures, and external and internal audits.
The Requirements Grade 12, plus a pass in Accountancy OR If Accountancy was not a subject in Grade 12, a post-matric higher certificate or diploma in Accounting, with at least 4 years of relevant experience where such experience includes:
A relevant National Diploma or Higher qualification with Financial Accounting will be an added advantage.Application of accounting principles, including fixed assets and inventory accounting.Analysing accounts, identifying problems and recommending and preparing corrections/journals.Producing information for financial and related reporting purposes.Demonstrating knowledge of the procure-to-pay process, from purchase order to delivery to payment.Working within a computerised accounting environment, with an advanced level of Excel.Administration of and financial reporting of projects.Previous experience working on an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Financial System will be an added advantage e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP etc.Application Process It is essential that prospective candidates read the job profile for further information and ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted.
