Senior Financial Accountant

Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting, plus professional certification (SAICA, SAIPA,AGA(SA)etc.).
This position will require relocation or occasional travel to Mpumalanga (hybrid/remote option).
5-10 years of professional experience in the manufacturing environment, with preference given to candidates with professional body membership.
Full financial function and management accounts.
Strong and mature personality.
Proficiency in accounting and payroll software.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, interpret, and present financial statements and management accounts for stakeholders and auditors.
Manage the abattoirs full financial function and finance team.
Analyse, reconcile, investigate, and report on internal financial records.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (SARS, DOL, WCA, CIPC).
Perform abattoir-related calculations and maintain a thorough understanding of the Tax and VAT acts.
Collaborate with the finance team to enhance accounting procedures and internal controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Manage payroll accounting and oversee accounting software integrations.
Analyse and report on cost control and financial efficiency for business improvements.
