ACCOUNTING and COMPLIANCE Responsible for ensuring statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements are met for the company with a focus on South Africa Responsible for ensuring all accounting month-end activities are completed as per the global accounting calendar Facilitate the process of analysis and approval of annual FS, tax returns, and other financial and compliance reports Ensuring accurate reconciliation of statutory financial statements with the group GAAP reports and ensuring compliance with the local IFRS Working with local BPOs to ensure high-quality statutory compliance management and resolution of any significant compliance matters Co-ordinate and facilitate the annual financial audit process for the local and group audits Prepare and provide detailed relevant information for all BEE strategic initiatives Monitor and resolve all SARS queries including tax audits to ensure compliance is maintained
FP&A Assistance in preparing periodic management reports which contain key information for decision making process, such as analysis of historical financials, variance explanations, updated forecasts with risks and opportunities, KPIs, etc. Working with regional FP&A team to ensure the top management's strategic plan is accurately represented in the regional financial and operating plans
TREASURY Managing relationships with local banks and other financial institutions Preparation of the cash flow statements Review of Foreign Exchange Transactions Monitor daily cash balances and determine cash requirements.
Other Resolving disputes and inquiries from other departments Assisting in internal and external audits as needed Working closely with the direct manager to ensure the smooth running of all financial matters Working closely with other finance teams including Shared Service Centers, Revenue Assurance and Treasury
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance 8+ years' finance experience (beneficial if in an international company) Internationally recognized accounting professional qualifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) - preferable Articles served at Big 4 - preferable Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail Highly inquisitive mindset with an aptitude for numbers Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) When you become a part of Infobip you can expect: Awesome clients. – We serve and partner with the majority of the leading mobile operators, OTTs, brands, banks, social networks, aggregators and many more.
