In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing and overseeing the Electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP) design, ensuring quality installation, inspection, and testing of electrical systems on large-scale renewable energy projects. You will work closely with our design team, collaborate with civil and mechanical engineers, and play a key role in delivering projects that meet both technical and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, inspection, and quality assurance of electrical works.
Oversee construction and ensure compliance with design standards.
Manage contract requirements, financial data, and variations.
Support site operations with breakdown intervention and risk evaluation.
Qualifications & Experience:
BSc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering.
7 years experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Experience with EPC contractors or consultants.
Knowledge of South African Grid Code and experience in Wind/Solar/BESS projects is a plus.
Essential Skills:
Strong project delivery and contract management skills.
High ethical standards with attention to detail.
Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational abilities.
Willingness to travel as required.

Minimum Requirements: 7 years of experience in quality control, specifically with turbines and transformers. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be a South African or a South African Permanent Residency holder.
