What will I be doing: Following the rapidly continued growth of our customer base, Darktrace is looking to add to our post-sales team of Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineers.
As a Senior Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer in the Professional Services organization, you will ensure Darktrace is deployed, integrated, and optimized to the highest standards, providing our clients with industry-leading, AI-powered, cyber security protection.
This crucial, fast-paced role involves discussing, proposing, and implementing robust solution architectures for complex deployments across all coverage areas. You will assist customers with deploying Darktrace technology within network, cloud, OT, and email environments, as well as lead and become a trusted advisor to key customers in their security infrastructure design and planning.
You will regularly complete deployment projects on or before expected Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and integrate new systems into existing network architecture. On the support side, you'll efficiently manage customer support tickets to assist with technical issues and proactively engage with customers to help maintain a healthy deployment.
In this position, you'll maintain and enhance communication between all go-to-market teams, including sales, customer success, and operations. At times, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
What experience do I need: We welcome applications from experienced technical candidates with demonstrated experience in implementing cyber defense tools and protecting networks against security threats. You'll also hold the strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including mentorship of other technical resources). On a technical level, you'll ideally have the following experience:
A technical educational background and experience working in a similar post-sales role,Advanced knowledge of computer networking protocols, LAN and WAN, cyber security principles, and the OSI reference model,A broad understanding of network and cloud architecture design, configurations, principles, and best practices,Proficiency in OT network principles and practices based on the Purdue model,Advanced level knowledge and/or certifications with industry-standard vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, and Palo Alto Networks.Additionally, it would be helpful if you had experience in implementing Darktrace sensors and software modules into various environments (including cloud, email, and OT) as well as experience with Darktrace deployment options, integrations, and response enablement and tuning (custom routes, firewall integrations, email), but this is not a requirement for the role.
