Based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, this reputable company is seeking a Senior Creditors Controller to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcessing of banks via Bank Manager on Pastel Version 19Processing Purchase OrdersCollaborating with Buyers to check pricing, order quantities, and avoid double orderingPulling Purchase Order Reports and following up with Buyers regarding stock and delivery issuesProcessing all Supplier Invoices to ensure goods have been received and charged correctlyFollowing up on claims, credits, and overcharges from suppliersProcessing and following up on all Debit Order Payments & InvoicesCollecting and processing Credit Card/Debit Card slips, invoices, and expenses for both branchesManaging Supplier Credit applications for both branchesReconciling all accounts within 30 daysPreparing Monthly Supplier Reports with Month-end Payment SummariesSending out Remittances to Suppliers to clarify payments and resolve queriesMaintaining good relationships with SuppliersManaging COD Payments and Petty CashProcessing and downloading Waybills for Freight, ensuring invoices match signed WaybillsPreparing Monthly Fuel Reports for Cape Town, monitoring budget regarding fuel expensesGenerating Monthly Tracker Reports to check vehicle usage over weekends and following up with the ManagerPerforming ad hoc tasks as requiredDesired Experience & QualificationsGrade 12 with Maths/Accountancy preferredAdditional qualifications after Grade 12 are advantageous but not essentialA minimum of 8 to 10 years' proven Senior Creditors Control experience is necessaryEssential to have previous Pastel Version 19 knowledge and experienceProficiency in MS Office including Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook, and Email is essentialKnowledge of Bank Manager on Pastel is requiredExperience in building relationships with Suppliers is a necessityAbility to multi-task with high attention to detailDeadline-driven team player is essentialPackage & RemunerationR22,000 - R25,000 depending on experience
