The Global Supply Data team is responsible for the reporting centre of excellence across multiple countries around the globe. Whenever someone requires data of some kind of predefined or ad-hoc reporting, this team is the go-to shop. We provide a range of financial and operational reports to all areas of the business in order for them to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will be working within a team of BI Specialists and closely with the Data Engineering team who are responsible for:
Developing and maintaining the Azure based reporting platform.Managing reporting and data driven strategic analysis to help with performance tracking and support future business planning.Managing key projects and new initiatives that the business undertakes from a strategy perspective.About the Role: As a Senior BI Analyst, you'll leverage your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling to design and develop cutting-edge Business Intelligence solutions. Collaborating with a global team, you'll transform complex business requirements into actionable insights, reusable tabular data models, and dynamic dashboards. Your work will support strategic decision-making, especially in pricing analysis for travel products, where you'll analyze market trends and internal data to inform competitive strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the BI Team Lead to deliver impactful analytical projects and identify business opportunities.Work closely with local teams to understand and meet their information requirements.Develop and maintain data integration processes, procedures, and reporting frameworks.Ensure credibility by providing accurate and timely performance analyses.Lead solution development lifecycle activities, including analysis, design, testing, and implementation.Implement and optimize BI dashboards to meet flexibility, usability, and performance standards.Support and maintain data analytics platforms.Create and maintain SQL stored procedures, views, and ad-hoc SQL reports, including querying delta lake via HIVE and Databricks notebooks.Develop and update technical documentation.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement and maintain BI solutions.Skills & Expertise: Advanced experience developing reports using Power BI, SSMS, Databricks notebooks, and MS Visual Studio.Proficiency with tools such as Python, Spark SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Event Hubs.Expertise in developing tabular models for shared Power BI datasets.Strong background in modern data warehousing techniques.Experience in pricing analysis for travel products is an advantage.Recent and relevant SQL querying experience.What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive global work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.The chance to work with cutting-edge BI technologies.A role that directly impacts business strategies and outcomes.If you're passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
