Senior Blasting Technician

We are seeking a Senior Blasting Technician to provide essential technical support and advice to our client's operations and customers regarding blast implementation and training. This role is critical for ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in blasting operations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver technical support and advice on the implementation and training of blasting operations. Build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships. Monitor equipment and analyse performance to ensure optimal operations. Assist in training and risk management documentation while promoting compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act. Conduct blast quality reviews, evaluate results, and prepare detailed blast reports using databases and blasting software The ideal candidate will have: Extensive experience in blasting operations with a strong technical background. Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Solid knowledge of safety regulations and risk management practices. Proficiency in blast design and evaluation techniques.
