Seeking Senior Architectural Technologists to join an office environment. Engaging in all stages of the architectural and/or urban design process, and working within a team structure as a Professional Snr. Architectural Technologist. Specific focus will be on technical skills and understanding of construction documentation and the on-site delivery of complex building projects.
Performance Areas: Lead, develop and manage design, development, and delivery of projects.Produce design documentation aligned to the design brief.Assist the management team with the coordination of the project team and program.The ability to develop TECHNICAL design options in collaboration with the design team.Utilizing BIM Software to prepare project designs and construction documentation.Qualifications: Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology.Professional SACAP registration.Experience and Skills: Minimum of 5 years' professional experience.Experience in all architectural work stages, with an emphasis on work stages 4-6.Skills Requirement: Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite skill-set.Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and technical skills.Construction documentation, Stage 4.2 and site inspections.Engage proactively in the design and production discourse and processes in the office.Experience at delivering projects on site.Ability to function in a team, under pressure.Ambition to work on a wide variety of architecture projects at various scales.A self-starter, who is driven to gain experience and skills while adding value.Aptitude to learn through experience and from others.If shortlisted, we would like to set up an interview with candidates to assess skills and character.
