Job Purpose
To provide leadership and direct initiatives that promote ethical behavior across the Necsa Group, which include but not limited to providing advice on internal control for ethics and improprieties, allegations, complaints and conflicts of interest.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and manage an in-house ethics training programme for the Group.
Develop a code of Ethics for the Organisation.
Develop training material on professional Ethics based on the best practices.
Conduct training for the Board, Subsidiary Boards and Executive Management.
Develop a progressive training programme for all incoming employees, and continue ethical oversight of all related operations.
Give advice on ethical standards of conduct and provide guidance in order to avoid, mitigate or resolve potential, actual or perceived conflicts of interest.
Provide independent, impartial and confidential ethics advice to Directors and Executive Management.
Conduct preventative maintenance and constant improvement and monitoring of the application of the code of ethics within the organization.
Ensure that staff is well informed of the code of ethics and the professional rules, internal directives, and legal standards that apply to that person's job description.
Monitor and maintain compliance with the code of ethics throughout the organisation.
Supervise the Ethics helpline, ensuring that cases are received and responded to in a timely, accurate, constructive and professional manner.

Knowledge of current industry best practices relating to corporate ethics and business conduct/practices, preferred.
Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work productively in a team/task force as a participant or team leader, and with senior staff and managers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Admitted Attorney.
LLB Degree.
Certification by the ethics institute will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 6 years' experience in an advisory role within a Legal/Ethics/Compliance environment.
