Job Title: Senior Accounts Clerk based in a large FMCG and logistics company based in Phoenix Industrial Park

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial administration, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to handle a variety of financial tasks with accuracy. Knowledge of the cement and hardware industry would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and monthly closing reports. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate funds for operational needs. Work closely with management to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Oversee the payroll process and ensure timely submission of employee payments. Assist in tax preparations and submissions. Support in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures as needed. Liaise with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters. Requirements: Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role, with at least 3-5 years in a senior capacity. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the cement and hardware industry is an advantage. Qualifications: A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field. Attributes: High level of accuracy and accountability. Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
