We use innovative technology, such as Xero Accounting and Dext, to automate processes and focus on delivering valuable insights to our clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accountant at Wingman Accounting (Pty) Ltd. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients (typically SMEs). This person will be performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including prepping financial statement packs, general ledger maintenance, weekly bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable management and payroll processing. The role will also involve collaborating with clients to provide financial insights, issuing monthly management reports, preparing and filing tax returns (income tax & provisional income tax, payroll tax and VAT), and ensuring compliance with regulations. While this role is located in Paarl, there is flexibility for some remote work (typically 2 days per week remote).
