The Finance and Administrative Officer will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Financial Controller, and Finance Manager to promote the effective use of financial management best practices. This role supports the finance and supply chain management (SCM) division with efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. The position requires a proactive approach to accounts management, reporting, compliance, and financial administration.Responsibilities:Accounts Payable Management: Oversee full management of accounts payable, including processing invoices, payments, and account reconciliations to ensure compliance within the SCM division.Accounts Receivable Supervision: Support the accounts receivable management, including distribution of statements, follow-up on outstanding invoices, processing remittances, and performing reconciliations.Cash Flow Management: Assist with cash flow operations, including bank, petty cash, and cash flow forecasting.Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain customer confidence by ensuring all financial information is handled confidentially and protect operations by adhering to compliance regulations.Tax Management: Oversee all tax-related matters, including VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax.Financial Operations Support: Collaborate closely with the CFO to support smooth financial operations across all finance-related functions.Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare management reports, financial statements, and other financial documentation as needed.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and ad hoc financial forecasts.Query Resolution: Address finance-related queries from stakeholders and ensure timely, effective resolutions.Administrative Support: Provide general assistance to the CFO with financial administration and other related deliverables.Education:Undergraduate Financial Accounting/Financial Management qualification recognized by SAQA, or actively studying toward it.Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Finance and Accounting (articles can be considered as part of the experience).Proficient in Chinese and English (reading, writing, and speaking).Valid driver's license.Familiarity with accounting software and payroll software (advantageous).Desired Skills:Mining machinery.Accounting software.Mandarin.Desired Work Experience:5 to 10 years.
