Senior Accountant PositionWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join an accounting firm. Must have a B Com: Accounting, completed articles, Pastel and Caseware experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReconcile all balance sheet accountsCashbook entries, journal postings and month end proceduresCreditors and debtor's reconciliationMaintain fixed asset registerReconcile VAT reports to the GL and submit VAT returnsCashflow statementsManagement accountsProvisional tax calculationsCompile AFS and tax computations for Close Corporations, Companies, Trusts and Sole proprietors on Caseware; including all accounting work, recon of balance sheet accountsSubmit annual tax returns for Close corporations and Private companiesPlan jobs and supervise team membersManage and assist Junior AccountantsAssist the Partners in the fulfilment of their duties and staff in technical and computer mattersDesired Experience & QualificationsB.
