The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with important clients. The incumbent will ensure that services are provided accordingly and generate new sales.Senior Account Executive Job Duties:Servicing of and selling solutions to existing clients' baseGeneration of new sources of revenue with optimum volumes and yieldAchievement of minimum set call ratesAchievement of minimum set proposal ratesAchievement of minimum set closing ratiosTimeous and accurate feedback to clientsExpending time and energy on creative solutions to meet clients' needsRetention of clientsDriving, developing and assisting with marketing initiativesDeveloping knowledge of client's brands and businessesEnsure the smooth running of all administrative procedures pertaining to scheduling, programming, productions, and financeComplete weekly reports timeouslyPrepare, follow up and continuously update a sales action planQualifications:Media or Marketing Degree or equivalent study with a high level of understanding of sales, media and marketing strategy.Experience and Knowledge of:5-10 years in the Media/ Marketing/ Advertising industry with proven track record of working in the media industry, formulating and selling strategic media solutions at a senior level.Skills:Sound knowledge of the media and advertising sectorsGood understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodsAbility to think strategically within the parameters of the new sales strategyAbility to identify advertiser's business challenges and then effectively formulate and sell relevant media solutionsActively source and identify opportunities to take to marketPortfolio/Account management – maximizing and creating opportunities across all agencies and brandsExcellent presentation skillsExcellent business written and communication skillsGood problem-solving skillsAbility to build relationships, trust, and customer loyalty
