Ivanplats is looking for a Security Manager Operations IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future". Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development. This role is the most Senior Protection Service role dedicated to an Operation and reports directly to the General Manager on issues relating to security risk management for the operation. The role is accountable to the General Manager for all issues relating to the management and optimisation of Security Service for Ivanplats. The role needs to initiate appropriate strategies, policies and systems within the Operation to minimize risks relating to the security of employees and assets. The role has a management focus to lead the Security Service team within the operation towards industry best practices and to integrate team outputs with the work of other disciplines in the operation.
