Security ManagerCLIENT in the MINERAL PROCESSING PLANT requires the services of a SECURITY MANAGER at their plant in the KZN Area as soon as possible.PLEASE SEND CV IN WORD FORMAT TOGETHER WITH QUALIFICATIONS, ID, DRIVERS LICENSE AND LATEST PAYSLIPDuties & ResponsibilitiesTo manage and lead Security Risk Management.To provide expert advice and consultancy to Management on the implementation of security operational plans in line with broader business plans, and to ensure effective contingency plans are in place for crisis situations.To implement and manage sound security practices and measures, and compliance with applicable national legislation and international standards.To facilitate, monitor and ascertain the implementation of maritime security measures and procedures within the COMPANY in compliance with the International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code, the Merchant Shipping (Maritime Security) Regulations 2004 and other related maritime security legislation and arrangements.To research and monitor security indicators and trends in the organization, and stay abreast of applicable worldwide best practices and regulations ensuring that the business is not exposed to security risks.Desired Experience & QualificationQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Security Management / Risk Management; qualifications and experience in professional security related fields; security emergency response; Project Management; 5 years managerial experience; 5 years crime investigation experience, understanding of the investigation of all on-site crime related incidents.SkillsSound management and leadership skills; sound knowledge of the ISPS code and maritime security regulations and other relevant legislation; proven track record in security management or equivalent environment; Code EB Driver's Licence; Computer Literacy (Ms Office); good communication and influencing skills to drive change at all levels within the organization; negotiation and coordination; Surveillance/Counter-surveillance (Practical course 2 months (NIA); Communication Crypto-Security (SACSA); Firearm Coordinator certificate; investigations/intelligence; knowledge of security and emergency risks within the workplace.Behavioural TraitsPersistent, persuasive; interpersonal; professionalism and integrity; ability to work independently; decision making.Package & RemunerationSALARY HIGHLY NEGOTIABLE
