You will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols and emergency preparedness plans to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets.Requirements:Policing Diploma / Fire Technology Diploma / Degree or equivalentDrivers' License10 years' relevant experience in the security and emergency environment within the chemical and manufacturing industryPSIRA registeredKnowledge and experience in coordinating and execution of requirements pertaining to emergency services equipment in accordance with SAQCC and NFPA requirements and set guidelines including ASIB requirementsGood communication and leadership skillsKey Performance Areas:All key Security and Emergency preparedness functionsIdentify, analyse, and record crime trends in the area including potential events that might affect the business by proactively identifying and analysing risks, threats, and recommending countermeasures to prevent eventsDevelop and continuously revise a proactive security strategyInvestigate and consider area innovations (technology and processes)Security Management: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocolsEmergency Preparedness: Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and create comprehensive emergency response plansCrisis Response and ManagementTraining and Education: Provide training and education to employees on emergency proceduresTechnologies: Evaluate, implement, and manage security and emergency preparedness technologies such as access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and fire protection/prevention safeguardsCollaboration and Liaison: Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and external security partners to enhance security measures and response capabilitiesApply for this Job
