This is a Hybrid Role based in Midrand, Gauteng - Telecommunications industry, contract position for 6 months.
Remuneration: R400 - R450 per hour
Responsibilities
• Ensure that the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles as adopted within the department and also ensure the continuous improvement thereof.
• Ensure the proper implementation of the Scrum or Kanban Agile methodology approaches within all teams that you are supporting as a Scrum Master
• Facilitate and maximize team productivity by supporting the team(s) as a Scrum Master and helping / enabling them to grow and develop as a high performance team.
• Managing and tracking effort and progress and highlighting ways to keep the project on track despite issues – "can do" attitude is essential. • • Maintaining group dynamic to facilitate individuals working as a team.
• Measurement: number of partners who went live with services month-on-month output vs planned output.
• Ensure project stakeholders (including customer management and project team) are informed (at customer agreed intervals) of project/sprint status and changes as per agreed scope and communications plan.
• Communication and feedback plan needs to be agreed with the customer/project stakeholders
• Workshop/Meeting organization and facilitation
• Identify project stakeholders and form project teams
• Project scoping
• Drawing up and managing project plans and project schedules
• Stakeholder management
• Accurate, regular and Adhoc project reporting to stakeholders
• Ensure that all project management documentation is stored in a central repository
• Ensure that all project management tracking tools are updated daily
• Collaborate with all related groups to ensure the correctness of business requirements
• Application of Project Governance Controls following the Project Delivery Life Cycle
• Manage change control procedures to ensure fundamental scope changes are escalated and accepted.
Qualification and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field
• Experience and/or certification in Scaled Agile Framework and Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• 5+ years' experience in a PM role within IT software development environment
• Ideally some exposure to Digital projects within a telco or financial services
• Experience in working with multivendor teams in various locations
• Experience with project management tools e.g., JIRA, MS Project. Project management, Agile Methodologies, ITIL
