Job DescriptionOur client in Pretoria is recruiting for an SAP SD DevOps Consultant (Advanced) to join their team.Responsibilities:Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements).Set up the organization structure for Sales & Distribution processes and perform all relevant configuration, including Materials Management where integration requires this.Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing.Preparation of Sales & Distribution templates for various objects e.g., sales orders.Integration testing with other modules.Understand interfaces, IDOC, and RFC's processing.Preparing the cutover strategy for SD objects.Preparing user manuals and conducting training for business process owners.Go-live preparation and post Go-live support.Interaction with clients through meetings, calls, and emails.Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving, and closing Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLA's (Service Level Agreements).Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support.Executing the required changes through configuration.Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls.Raising Change Requests (CR's) and writing Functional Specifications for them.Preparing test data for testing of CR's (Change Requests).Testing CR's (Change Requests) and preparing test results.Carrying out regression testing.Interact with consultants of other modules.Steer external consultants in allocating deliverables to these feature teams and serve as quality assurance of their deliverables.User interface transactional solutions.Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles.Update and maintain documentation as existing system's functionality is changed.Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings, etc.Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s).Qualifications/Experience:Relevant IT / Business Degree.8 years' experience.SAP S/4 HANA (advantageous).JIRA and Confluence.Ability to interpret Business requirements and move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation.Advantageous Skills Requirements:SAP S/4 HANA.Take a consultative approach to challenge customers' requested solution design, should a better alternative exist.Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users.Good time management and organisational skills.Willingness to learn and grow with the team.Willingness to engage with foreign customers and be sensitive to possible language barriers and cultural differences.Willingness and ability to work on weekends and public holidays on implementation and operations (IT Support) related tasks.Ability to work as part of an agile team, interdependent and independently to submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.Proactive and take personal initiative when appropriate – self-starter.Above board work ethics – this is of utmost importance.Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.Solution and results oriented with strong customer focus.Understand situational awareness and holistic view on topics.Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).Package & RemunerationSalary Market Related
