IntroductionWe are seeking to appoint a SAP ABAP Developer. The candidate will report into the Applications Portfolio Manager (ERP). Please note this is an office-based role in Roodepoort, Lea Glen.
Job Purpose: Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP Web applications.
Key Performance Areas: Design and develop SAP applications using the FIORI programming language.Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance.Provide technical support and training to end-users.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP FIORI, SAP's Low-code, No-code tools and RPA's.Skills: SAP IAS ConfigurationWriting Technical Specifications for Developers to followWriting Test Specifications and executing testing against themKnowledge: A DelivererAnalyticalProblem SolverSees the Big PictureAnalysing and interpretingCreating and conceptualisingAdapting and CopingQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (strongly advisable).Systems Design certificate or training.Minimum Job Related Experience: Essential: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP S4HANA FIORI development.Experience in researching, interpreting, and applying SAP Notes.Logging and managing SAP tickets / calls.Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules.Desirable: SAP FIORI certification.Experience in working with SAP S4 Extended Edition / Private Cloud / HEC.ABAP Development.Experience in Pharma, Logistics, or Wholesale & Distribution Industries.Familiarity with SAP CPI.N.B: We endeavor to provide feedback to all candidates whenever possible, however, if you don't hear from us within 14 days from the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
