Project Location(s): Spartan, Kempton Park, Johannesburg, 1619 Compensation: TBA DutiesDevelopment of new accounts and support of existing customers to generate new business leadsEstablishing and maintaining strong customer relationships: understanding customer needs, developing solutions to address those needsDevelopment and delivery of product demonstrations and customer presentationsExecution of the sales projects including technical clarification, handling requests for proposals (RFPs) and quotes (RFQs)Preparation of sales reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales and customers information, market analysis reports on competitors' activities and market trends (CRM)Attendance of national and international trade shows, in-house exhibitions and other marketing-related activitiesPerformance of further area sales-related duties as requiredRequirementsAcademic or secondary degree in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics or manufacturing engineering or equivalent professional qualification required for this positionStrong customer orientation and hands-on approachAbility to work without close supervision, possessing target- and solution-driven approachStrong presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues in a simple wayWillingness and ability to travel both local and internationalImpeccable verbal and writing skillsSeveral years of professional experience in sales-related function, application engineering position, engineering or experience with machine toolsWe offerA generous benefits package that includes medical, pension, company laptop and cell phoneOpportunities to advance and further your career
