This position will be based in Johannesburg (North territory), South Africa under the Obesity Business Unit.
You will directly report to the Field Sales Manager.
The Position As a Sales Representative for Obesity at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers in the Obesity field.
Your main accountabilities will be: Promote and sell our obesity products to healthcare providers, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to make informed decisions Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth Stay up to date with the latest developments in the obesity field and provide feedback to internal teams to support product improvement and innovation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives Qualifications As a Sales Representative in Obesity, you need to be a registered dietitian or have a dietician degree but not compulsory.
You can also have a Bachelor's degree in Life Science or any other relevant field.
To be successful in this role: Strong knowledge of the obesity market, including key competitors and industry trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapid and establish trust with healthcare professionals Strong work ethic and a positive attitude You have a pro-active approach and innovative way of working Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory Fluency in English About the Department The Obesity team is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
