We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our retail team based in Bloemfontein.
This role involves building and nurturing client relationships, promoting our range of firearms products, and driving sales growth within the company.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for firearms, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Minimum Requirements 2+ years of relevant experience Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the firearms industry.
Strong passion for firearms and a solid understanding of firearms terminology and technology.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with the local firearms market and industry trends.
Familiarity with firearms regulations and legal requirements related to storage, handling, and transportation.
Must be computer literate – Word, Excel, internal ERP system.
Responsibilities: Sales of firearms and firearm-related products in the safe.
Check online systems for outstanding cases that were assigned to the safe.
Record all firearm-related queries.
Follow up on all outstanding sales orders.
Merchandise new stock.
Ensure all registers are up to date.
Adhere to the Firearm Control Act Create collection codes and adjustments for collection reports.
Ensure that all sales agreements have been handed in.
Book in and out of stock.
Safekeeping Keep an updated front safe register Print collection papers Renew dealer's license Complete all required reports (SAP512G, Gunsmith and SAP271/SAP350B) Complete the key and firearm register.
Complete e-submissions and ensure the firearm has been registered, should the firearm not be registered request for reason with the Police.
Submit SAP534-E report for 2nd hand weapons.
Complete monthly aged firearm totals for Steerkom Reports.
Complete the competency register for new employees and make a copy of their competency trade.
Should a staff member be terminated write the date the staff member should be terminated.
Once a week check that the ammo sales reps' books have been tallied up.
Check that the ammo sales reps have enough blue books once a month.
Request new books should the safe books be depleted or close to being depleted.
Open a repair job card should the client bring in a firearm for a repair.
Complete the repairs register for booked in firearms.
