Role Introduction To partner with Account Managers to provide proactive sales and support to achieve the targets through the intelligent use of data enabling the achievement of revenue and the associated targets for the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Account Management Support the Channel Distribution strategy for the Port / TerritoryManage smaller but value-driven Agents/Corporates as per agreed targets using an insights-driven approachProvide coverage and support for the Account Manager role as and when requiredService high-value agents/Corporates as an exception as requiredManage and grow the customer base for the SME (Business Plus) programmeGrow the business by actively seeking new sales leads and customersSales Support and Reporting Supply the regional business development team with market information from time to time in accordance with Cathay's anti-trust policies and guidelines as requiredProduce ad-hoc reports, revenue statements and analysis on accounts and agents as required in a timely manner to flag any opportunities or trendsUpdate sales results for each tactical promotional fare for evaluation as requiredEnsure that monthly flown revenue report and BSP sales data is preparedAssist with Corporate Fare Request Sheets and CXagents.com at a local level if requiredAssist with GSA Administration, trade queries and backend supportAny other reasonable task as requestedGeneral Utilise tools such as PRISM, SFA, DDS and QlikView to run reports and conduct analysis for the Corporate and Trade Account ManagersWhere there is no local Cathay Marketing presence, proof materials to ensure language, content and context in the local marketplace is appropriateAny other reasonable task as requestedEmergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as requiredRequirements Diploma or certificate (ideally in a relevant Sales, Marketing or Business field) is preferredKnowledge, skills, training and experience A minimum of two years' relevant experience in data analysisExperience in, or knowledge of, the airline industry is a distinct advantageProven numeracy and analytical skillsKnowledge of PRISM, MIDT, DDS and Sales Force Automation Tool is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent PC literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to cover and progress into an Outdoor Sales roleAdaptive to and embraces constant changeBenefits Be part of the Cathay Pacific family and join a dynamic team culture working for one of the World's Best AirlinesMake the most of your leave and take advantage of travel industry discounts including flights, hotels, tours and car hire.Work your way with flexible hybrid work arrangementsEnjoy Health benefits with 50% company subsidised private health insurance premiumsFly high with career development opportunities to diversify your skills and experience within the Cathay Pacific family.Cathay Pacific is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
