Sales Manager PositionLooking for candidates wanting to relocate to Mauritius!This person will require to work in the Alberton office for the first 6 months to get training and then will relocate to Mauritius. The company is willing to cover relocation costs for you and your family! Must be willing to travel internationally!My client is a heavy engineering company that manufactures Grinding Mills in the Global Mineral Processing sector. They have branches in JHB and Mauritius and deal with clients internationally.They are looking for a Sales Manager to join the team that will focus on business development and lead a sales team. The person must be willing to travel internationally and love face-to-face interactions. They need someone who will participate and not leave everything up to the team to sell mills; the engineer needs to be involved so all technical and commercial aspects are understood, and the deals are closed effectively.Duties & ResponsibilitiesBrief description of the role:The Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of salespeople to consistently achieve the annual budget.The Sales Engineer must understand customer needs, build a strategy, and achieve a success ratio of a minimum of 50%.Desired Experience & QualificationQualifications:Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Extractive Metallurgy degree.Any form of relevant sales qualifications or relevant experience in sales of large mineral processing equipment.Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in Technical Sales.Extensive experience in the grinding mill or large mineral processing equipment industry.Must be strong in business development.Must be a team player.Must be willing to listen to advice but also take initiatives and risks.Key attributes:Curious nature and knowledge-driven.Self-Motivated.Energetic, flexible, team participator.Problem solver, strategy-oriented.Focused on the goal, disciplined, hard-working.Familiar with various industry commercial terms and conditions.Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Dedicated team leadership attributes and able to motivate and manage a young and energetic team.Extroverted and thrives on face-to-face meetings with clients.Prepared to travel globally.Package & RemunerationSalary and benefits:Negotiable based on experience.2 x flight tickets per year to your home country to visit family.
