Sales Manager

Sales Manager - South Coast (KZN) A state of the art Industrial and Construction equipment is looking for a Sales Manager.
About the role: The successful candidate will be responsible for: Attaining monthly and annual sales targets Building up distribution channels Establishing strategic business relations Providing ideas for all strategic sales plans and their implementation.
Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
Be responsible for controlling the selling costs with the objective of achieving predetermined net profit yields.
Requirements: Significant experience and proven track record in Sales and preferably general management in the Lift Truck Industry.
Proven track record for high levels of productivity and overachievement of targets of at least 5 years in the lift truck industry Proven track record with major clients and relationships Knowledge of material handling products is preferred.
Knowledge of industry, i.e.
mining, construction, plant hire, road building, public sector, etc.
Proven track record in good people management, team building and leading skills.
Previous management experience in a sale or like environment is essential.
Strong motivator.
Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Must be prepared to travel regularly.
Must be able to analyse market trends and forecast future demands.
