JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager is responsible for overall management of the sales department, developing, leading, and motivating a team of salespeople to drive revenue, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that the team targets and KPIs set are achieved.
Driving and setting up daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the sales team.
Overall management, recruitment, and development of the sales team.
Mentoring and motivating staff.
Driving outreach events and promotions.
Managing the sales administration process.
Maintaining consistent target delivery.
Sustaining optimal team productivity by ongoing recruitment.
Generating revenue by increasing membership sales.
Providing superior member service and ensuring member retention.
Management of risk.
Upholding compliance standards set by the organization.
REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of sales experience (previous experience in Health & Fitness or Hospitality industry preferred).
Previous management experience and ability to interact at all levels.
Proven track record of consistent sales achievements.
Reliable transport and own cell phone essential.
Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to work retail hours.
Sound work ethic.
