Matric Degree or equivalent in Sales At least 3 years experience in Logistics industry Responsibilities: Planning and Budgeting: Assist department head in setting short- & long-term strategies. Independently suggest strategies or plans to increase market share, customer base, conversion rates, retention rate etc. In collaboration with individual team members, create the annual sales budget for the team and submit for review of department head. Prepare personal sales budget and submit for review. Implement sales plan, policies and procedures designed by the department head in line with the sector, area and nature of business of the respective sales team. Budget additional resources required by the team to achieve their agreed targets such as manpower, equipment, training requirement etc. Sales Activity: Identify key or large account potential customers, establish contact and build a rapport. Analyze potential clients business requirements and offer solutions in partnership with other departments/divisions within the Organization. Responsible to achieve personal sales target. Promote the Organizations range of products & services and option to customize service packages. Attempt to secure fixed line or regular business from key customers. Guide clients through the onboarding process and ensure appropriate documentation is obtained for internal process for system onboarding. Prepare quotations in liaison with the pricing team and obtain approvals for profit margins charged (if applicable). Assist developed customers in transitioning from sales team to customer service team. Leverage developed client relationships to further sales through references. Performance Review and Analysis: Undertake weekly meetings to understand status of potential customers and projected sales activity for future periods. Review system entries of sales activity carried out by team members for accuracy & completeness. Weekly follow up on collections of outstanding receivables from customers of team members. Assist the department head in conducting various analysis such as quarterly customer loss, credit extension vs revenue generation, actuals vs budgets etc Customer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and onboarded customers. Assist team members in resolving issues in closing potential customers. Leverage business relationships towards achieving swift collections from customers Credit Management: Verify & evaluate the background of customers requesting credit through market research and existing relationships. Attempt to establish personal relationships with credit customer to protect the interests of the Organization. Ensure ICS relating to granting credit, terms, limits etc. are adhered to. Monitor the payment pattern of the credit customer to keep tight control on outstanding of credit customers. Valid drivers license and own vehicle
