Our name may fool you, but we are a growing luxury boutique resort. The Camp Lucy Sales Manager is responsible for selling the Camp Lucy Experience. This position reports to the Sales Director. The general responsibilities are listed below, but your main goal is sell, sell, sell.Hours: must be available to work weekends for site visitsAttire: Polished, professional business casual attire.Responsibilities:Qualification and solicitation of existing and new accountsFocus on acquiring new business, specifically wedding and socialBuild relationships with event plannersFollow sales process by qualifying leads, probing for needs, conducting site visit and closing the businessAssist in answering the primary phone line for Camp LucyPromptly respond, same day, to all inquiries, prospects, and tentative or definite businessAccurately track and report leads. Update the status of leads daily using the assigned lead pipeline. Track lead conversion rates and booking statistics using pipelinePrepare and send weekly sales activity reportDevelop plans for revenue increasing opportunities and action plans to address bookings for need dates in lodging and eventsExpert knowledge of Camp Lucy history, venue specifications, capacities, lodging, banquets, rental and floral servicesAttend networking events to build relationships and solicit new businessQualificationsDirect sales experience with proven resultsDelphi / Salesforce knowledge is not required, but a bonusWedding and Hospitality industry experience is a plusAbility to work in the office full-timeMinimum 1- 2years of direct sales experience is preferred, but not required
