START DATE : A.S.A.P / ImmediateREQUIREMENTS:At least 4 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager and/or Sales Manager in the food industryProficient in Microsoft OfficeGoal-oriented, assertive, and hands-on problem solverStrong analytical and strategic planning skillsExcellent communication and delegation abilities, fluency in English and Afrikaans essentialCapable of remaining calm under pressureOutstanding people skillsSelf-motivated and self-directedWilling to travel across different regions DUTIES: Create and execute a strategic sales planCreate the annual sales budget and targets for all regions including internationalMonitor actual sales against sales budget from all sales executives and report to management monthlyPresent strategic planning to improve client resultsAchieve the overall margin targets set by managementEnsuring high level of customer satisfaction of the company experienceMonitoring market trends and providing regular feedback including competitor behavior and trendsProvide product/customer forecasts to the planning departmentWork closely with purchasing, logistics and planning to ensure contract positions, availability, and pricing is optimumSet and maintain standard pricing based on product cost priceManage and support the sales team with customer specific pricingSet annual KPI's for sales team and track on quarterly basisManage and grow own customer base in Western and Eastern CapeExpand sales area into Southern Africa, by identifying potential customers and introduce the company portfolio to generate salesHire, train, motivate, and advise the sales teamEnsure contracts, price lists and customer information is up to date in SageAdhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws HOURS: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
