Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and fostering client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance the team's productivity and effectiveness.Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.Client Acquisition and Retention:Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.Market Analysis and Strategy:Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.Analyse sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Uphold high standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all sales activities.Mitigate risks associated with sales operations through proper oversight and controls.Qualifications and Experience: Recognised industry qualification an advantage.RE5 an advantage.Proven track record of success in sales management within the financial services industry, preferably in derivatives trading.Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a sales team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Deep understanding of financial markets, trading products, and regulatory frameworks.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.Benefits: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Supportive work culture with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
