Main job function Leading business membership organisation, with the purpose of making this regional economy a place where it is easier for businesses to succeed.

We are looking for a passionate sales executive to lead our sales team and grow business membership. This Cape Town based vacancy is on offer to a dynamic individual with the skills and competencies required to perform in an exciting environment. The sales executive's responsibilities include generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting sales targets.

To be successful as a sales executive you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, a top-notch sales executive should be able to build rapport with customers including CEOs of large firms and close sales.

Responsibilities Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies. Performing complex sales and providing solutions. Meeting with Executives across all industries to sell membership contracts. Researching and assessing potential opportunities and providing tailored solutions to fit clients' needs. Researching prospects and generating leads. Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person. Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints. Preparing and sending quotes and proposals. Managing the sales process through specific software programs. Building and maintaining a CRM database. Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Participating in sales team meetings. Participating in networking events. Excellent communication skills and able to engage in an articulate manner with senior managers. Qualifications Matric. Sales qualification advantageous. Criteria High school matric. Tertiary education will be an added advantage. 5+ years of sales experience. 10 years' experience in engaging with leaders of large firms. Excellent customer service and sales skills. Strong verbal and written communicator. Excellent phone and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs. Good negotiation and problem-solving skills. Salary R50 000 CTC A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
