We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, distributing, and servicing pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
With a solid track record of sales success, you will be responsible for growing our client base, maintaining existing relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the pump, motor, and valve industry.
This includes selling new products, parts, and repair services.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with superior products and exceptional after-sales service.
Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to existing and potential customers, highlighting the advantages of our products and services.
Forecasting & Reporting: Track and forecast sales on a monthly and quarterly basis, reporting to the Sales Manager.
Maintain records of sales activity and outstanding sales orders.
Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Problem Solving & Customer Support: Resolve customer complaints efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction, and provide solutions for equipment issues in collaboration with the technical team.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager and team to coordinate efforts, share insights, and contribute to the companys sales strategy.
Qualifications & Skills Required: Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in pumps, motors, gearboxes, or related equipment.
Proven record You will need to demonstrate your previous/proven sales & KPI track record.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with pumps and related equipment is preferable, along with experience selling new units, parts, and repair services.
Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations to various stakeholders.
Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with basic tablet and CRM skills.
Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and work effectively with customers, peers, and managers.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Independent Worker: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while keeping detailed records of sales activities.
Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and forecast sales projections over a 3-month period.
Pressure Handling: Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
