We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and a passion for sales, ideally with 3-5 years of experience in the mining or minerals processing industry. This role is perfect for a Sales Engineer with a proven track record in selling filtration technologies or a technically skilled individual eager to transition into a sales role. Experience with Pressure Filtration or Vacuum Filtration systems is essential.Key Responsibilities:Handle enquiries, assist with tender planning, and contribute to sales resource allocation.Develop and maintain customer relationships, focusing on delivering exceptional service and support.Prepare technical reports and product presentations tailored to client needs.Support the sales network in a technical capacity, providing expert advice on filtration systems.Conduct equipment sizing, selection, and feasibility checks to meet customer specifications.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handover of projects to the Contracts department.Assist with lab and pilot plant scale test work, as well as plant troubleshooting and commissioning.Maintain and update sales forecasts and enquiry registers.Requirements:Education:A tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Experience:3-5 years of experience in the Minerals Processing Industry, particularly in Pressure Filtration or Vacuum Filtration systems (but we will consider other candidates with similar Process Technologies).Technical Skills:Strong foundation in filtration technologies, with hands-on experience in process/plant engineering, test work, and process optimization.Ability to read specifications and prepare technical documentation, proposals, and presentations.Preferred Attributes:A proactive approach to developing new markets and customer relationships.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.A willingness to learn and grow within the sales function, with a keen interest in advancing your career in this field.Desired Skills:SalesFiltrationMineral ProcessingMiningDesired Qualification Level:DiplomaAbout The Employer:This Job Opportunity is advertised by Square 1 Recruitment, we are a Permanent Placement Agency.
